This house is situated at the lower end of the village of Eressos, close to Fonissa. Neither the village nor Skala Eressos are too far away and it's nestled down a little lane and opposite to a picturesque church!
It's a typical Eressian stone house and has been recently renovated including the big jobs...new roof, new doors, shutters and windows. No work is required excepting putting your own stamp and style on the place.
If you want a simple, no nonsense house that requires zero input from you then this could be it. Given the solid condition of the house and the renovation that has been undertaken, it's genuinely good value for money.
KITCHEN: It's a modest affair but more than adequate. Marble worktop, built in cupboards and room enough for a table and chairs. All very neat and tidy. A roomy entrance hall with under-stairs storage separates the two downstairs rooms.
LIVING AREA: This is currently being used as a third bedroom but would also make a fine living area/study space. Two windows looking out on to the church give this room a light and peaceful feel. The windowsills are deep and marble. Large ceiling fan will cool the place down in those summer months. There is good quality floor tiling running through the downstairs area.
BATHROOM: This is essentially a wet-room; great, large tiling, shower, stylish sink and W.C. The washing machine is housed here too.
UPSTAIRS: Two separate bedrooms one double, one single. Air Con unit in large bedroom. Typical large, wooden floorboards throughout and the original wooden doors. There is new UPVC double glazed windows throughout the house. There is a space between the two bedrooms which would be ideal as a study/office space.
OUTSIDE: As with many of the houses in the village it is genuinely not overlooked. There is plenty of parking space immediately outside the property. If you're a gardener then this place probably wont be for you. The courtyard has been recently tiled so would lend itself to pot plants. There is a small raised bed with two fruit trees which offer some shade. There's ample room for outdoor dining and entertaining and the space would require little in
the way of maintenance.
